[Remote] Accounts Payable Specialist

Responsibilities
- Review vendor invoices for required information and mathematical accuracy
- Check payment due dates and maintain an accurate invoice status tracker
- Request missing vendor documentation through approved channels
- Record credit notes and adjustments once authorized
- Identify aging invoices requiring appropriate follow-up
- Match invoices to purchase orders or other approved supporting records
- Reconcile vendor statements against recorded invoices and payments
Skills
- Good numerical accuracy and spreadsheet skills
- Ability to follow payment authorization procedures
- Confidential treatment of financial and banking information
- Understanding of basic invoices, credits, and payment terms
- Organized handling of multiple invoice due dates
