Technical Product Manager
About the role A rare seat: product lead, embedded in the team of one of America's best-known media and entertainment companies, whose content millions of people watch every day. You'll shape the roadmap for data and digital media products built on Databricks, keep senior executives aligned, and work with engineers to ship at real scale. The details Fully remote, anywhere in the US 12-month contract, 1099 or W-2, with the option to renew $80 to $95 an hour on 1099, or $65 to $80 an hour on W-2 Start by November 16, 2026 Must be authorized to work in the US; we can't sponsor visas What you'll do Own the roadmap and backlog for a data and digital media product, working with the client's product, content and engineering leaders. Turn business goals into clear requirements, acceptance criteria and priorities that engineers can build against. Work hands-on with data teams on Databricks, understanding pipelines, data models and analytics well enough to make good trade-offs. Present progress, risks and decisions to senior executives, and keep everyone aligned. Measure results after each launch and decide what comes next. What you'll bring Product management experience on digital media products: streaming, publishing, advertising or audience data. Hands-on Databricks experience: you've owned or worked closely on products built on it. Spark and Delta Lake a plus. Executive presence: you can run a room of VPs and translate between business and engineering. Clear writing and a habit of measuring outcomes.
